How to take apart a Shockini Figure?
You don't need any special tools to disassemble your shockini. Simply
pull apart the ball joints they are pop and lock and should just pop
out. you can also smooth any rough edges with a file or small piece
of very fine sandpaper.
What tools can be used for customizing this figure?
- Exacto Knife
- Sandpaper
- Dremel
- small Saw
- Paint Brushes
- Sculpting tools
What can I use for sculpting additional pieces?
There is a variety of sculpting materials that can be used with Shockini
Custom Action Figures. Epoxy Putty hardens through a chemical reaction
like Pro Poxy, while other sculpting compounds may require an oven to
fire and/or glue to attach the part like Super Sculpty III.
What paint can I use on the Shockinis?
We recommend the following types of paints: Acrylic, Airbrush Acrylic,
Enamel, Paint Markers and Matt/Flat Spray Paints that includes Citadel
paints, Testors acrylics and such.
How do I get brighter colors?
We suggest that you spray Primer black or gray on the figure before
painting. Painting over the primer will give you brighter, more vivid
results. Citadel Black primer seems to work the best.
How can I tighten the joints?
In some cases to much play can loosen a joint or nicks from an exacto
blade. Try using a thin coat of paint to re-tighten these joints or
a small dab of glue inside the join and let dry.
